Netflix Prices Set to Increase for Most U.S. Customers
Netflix has announced upcoming price hikes for most of its U.S. customers.
The Standard plan without ads will rise by $2.50, from $15.49 to $17.99 per month. This is the first increase for the Standard tier in three years, which allows two HD streams at the same time.
The ad-supported plan will also see a price jump, increasing from $6.99 to $7.99 per month. The premium plan, which offers four simultaneous streams, will go up from $22.99 to $24.99 per month.
Additionally, the cost for adding an Extra Member to a primary account will increase from $7.99 to $8.99 per month.
Netflix revealed these price changes on Tuesday when it shared its Q4 2024 earnings report. The company reported a gain of 19 million new subscribers, bringing its global total to 302 million.
