Palmdale Search Warrant Leads to Firearm Seizure, Explosive Device, and Arrests

Palmdale, CA – On Tuesday morning, February 25, 2025, Palmdale Detectives, along with the Palmdale PAC team, executed a search warrant at a home on the 37500 block of Sparrow Drive. The search was the result of an investigation into a road rage incident, in which a male suspect pointed a handgun at a female victim. Detectives were able to identify the suspect, and a search warrant was obtained for the location.

During the operation, authorities recovered several firearms from the home and vehicles on the property, including assault weapons with modified accessories, high-capacity magazines, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, body armor, narcotics, and a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle. They also found the firearm believed to have been used in the road rage incident inside the suspect's vehicle.

Additionally, a homemade explosive device, known as a "pipe bomb," was discovered. The LASD Arson Explosives Detail responded to the scene and safely rendered the device before removing it. Investigators also uncovered evidence that the suspect had been manufacturing firearms and firearm parts.

Before the search warrant was executed, the primary suspect and a female, identified as his girlfriend, were detained as they were leaving the residence. Both individuals were later arrested and charged with multiple felony weapons violations, as they were prohibited by law from possessing firearms or ammunition. The primary suspect also faces charges of possession of stolen property and possession of an explosive device.
