DA Hochman Announces Charges in Death of 4-Year-Old in Antelope Valley

ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA – Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman announced that Lacie Fetters, 25, has been charged with the murder of her fiancé’s 4-year-old son on December 3, 2024, in Antelope Valley.

Fetters and her fiancé, Andrew Havrella, 36, are also accused of abusing and torturing the child from May 2024 until his death.

“Violence against children is unacceptable,” said District Attorney Hochman. “We will seek justice for this child.”

Fetters faces charges of murder, assault on a child causing death, and torture. Havrella is charged with torture and child abuse. Both are accused of torturing the child between May and December 2024.

Fetters is scheduled for arraignment on March 6, 2025, and could face 25 years to life in prison if convicted. She is being held on $3 million bail. Havrella’s arraignment is scheduled for today, with bail set at $1.1 million. He faces life in prison if convicted.

The case is being prosecuted by the Family Violence Division and investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The charges are allegations. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
