Suspect Steals Money at Gunpoint from Rancho Vista Location, Authorities Searching for Driver

Authorities are investigating a robbery that occurred on the evening of February 3, 2025, at a Hilton location on 1309 Rancho Vista Boulevard. The suspect, described as a male Black adult, approached the establishment at gunpoint, demanding money before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is reported to be 5'9" tall and was wearing a long-sleeved yellow windbreaker jacket with the Target logo prominently displayed on the chest. Witnesses say the suspect was armed with a black revolver, which he used to threaten employees during the robbery. After obtaining the money, the suspect fled eastbound on Avenue O-8 towards 10th Street West.

The suspect was seen driving away in a dark blue, older model Ford Fusion, but details regarding the vehicle's exact year and make remain limited. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the vehicle to come forward.

The robbery took place in a relatively quiet area, but authorities are increasing patrols in the vicinity while they continue their investigation.
