New Restraining Order Issued Against Former Kern County Supervisor Zach Scrivner
A new restraining order has been filed against former Kern County Supervisor Zach Scrivner, adding to an existing criminal protective order that already prevents him from contacting his wife and children. The latest development has also led to the cancellation of a family law hearing that was set for next month.
In March of last year, Christina Scrivner filed for divorce. Just a month later, Zach Scrivner was accused of sexually assaulting one of his four children at their Tehachapi home. He is facing three felony charges of child abuse and two felony charges related to the possession of assault weapons.
Scrivner pleaded not guilty to all charges and is scheduled to appear in court again on May 1.
