Panorama City Celebrates Opening of 180-Unit Affordable Housing Project
On Saturday, Feb. 8, Panorama City welcomed the opening of Corazon Del Valle (Heart of the Valley), a new affordable housing development that provides 180 units for residents in need. The project aims to house nearly 400 people and was celebrated by local officials and community members.
Developed by Holos Communities, a North Hollywood-based developer, Corazon Del Valle includes half of its apartments designated as permanent supportive housing. These units will serve renters with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or a history of homelessness.
The development is specifically designed for individuals and families with low incomes, with residents earning $12,400 or less annually or families earning up to $70,000 annually qualifying for housing. This project provides a much-needed boost to the community, offering affordable living options in a rapidly growing area.
