Fighter Jet Crashes into San Diego Harbor: Pilots Eject and Survive
A fighter jet crashed into the San Diego Harbor on Wednesday, but both pilots on board are safe after ejecting from the aircraft just before impact.
The two-seat EA-18G Growler, operated by the Navy, went down near the harbor, prompting a swift rescue operation by the Coast Guard. The pilots, who had been in the water for only about a minute, were quickly rescued by a nearby fishing vessel.
Both pilots are now in stable condition, according to the Coast Guard.
This is an ongoing situation, and further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
