Wind Advisory for Antelope Valley Foothills and Antelope Valley Until 3 A.M. Tuesday

A wind advisory has been issued for the Antelope Valley Foothills and Antelope Valley, lasting until 3 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, as announced by the National Weather Service (NWS) on Sunday at 1:51 p.m.

Strong west winds are expected to range from 25 to 35 mph, with gusts reaching up to 50 mph. The NWS warns that these winds could cause unsecured objects to be blown around, bring down tree branches, and lead to occasional power outages.

Motorists, especially those driving larger vehicles, should be cautious as these gusty winds could make driving difficult.
