Tragic Collision at Scottsdale Airport Leaves One Dead, One Trapped
A deadly crash at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona has left one person dead and another trapped after two jets collided on the runway. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on February 10, when a Bombardier Learjet veered off the runway after landing and collided with a Gulfstream 2100 business jet that was parked on private property.
One person died immediately, while three others were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. As of 4:45 p.m., one person remained trapped aboard one of the jets, with emergency responders working tirelessly to rescue them.
The crash led to a ground stop at the airport, located in Maricopa County. Authorities have not yet released details about the severity of the injuries, but the situation remains under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), with the Scottsdale Fire and Police Departments on the scene, along with other emergency teams.
